  • We've been blown away by how many twiddle muffs we've already received from our lovely customers. We're collecting them for patients with dementia at the RD&E hospital, where they'll be used to help provide sensory input and a soothing distraction for restless hands. We can give you a free pattern if you pop into the shop.
  • It's a double #wipwednesday this week, both Jane and Esther are knitting The Shift Cowl by @dreareneeknits in a variety of yarns including @malabrigoyarn Mechita, @jarbontextiles Devonia 4-ply and many more! It's another great stash busting project if you're happy to get creative with your colours.
  • We're collecting Twiddle Muffs for patients with dementia at RD&E Hospital! Our lovely regular Hayley was alerted to the fact that they're in need of more of these wonderful tools which help calm and soothe patients with dementia. They're easy to knit and a great way to use up all those odds and ends of colourful yarn in your stash. She has kindly typed up the pattern so we have copies free to pick up in the shop, or we'll add a link to a similar online pattern in the comments below if you can't pop in. All you need to do is knit one (or several!), drop them into our shop in Bovey Tracey, and we'll make sure they get directly to the patients who need them via Hayley. Please do share this post so that we can get lots of these helpful Twiddle Muffs made asap 💕

  • We're loving this finished shawl by Gill - the pattern is St Aubin's Bay by @yarnaddictanni and she used Schoppel Zauberball to get those beautiful jewel tones. Look out for her wearing it in the shop! (Well, maybe when the weather's a bit cooler 😉)
