We are based in the historic town of Bovey Tracey on the edge of beautiful Dartmoor National Park.
This thriving town has plenty of attractions for craft and design lovers – from the superb Devon Guild of Craftsmen to Serendipity Quilting and Patchwork Shop, Grace & Favour Home gifts and interiors and Artisan Abode interior design. The town is also home to one of the most prestigious events in the calendar for craft-lovers – the annual Craft Festival.
For food lovers, head to Wildmoor Delicatessen, The Cheese Shed and the monthly Farmers Market. There’s also a splendid array of traditional independent shops such as butchers, greengrocers and bakers selling excellent quality local produce.
Looking for lunch? You’re spoiled for choice! The Terrace Cafe at The Guild of Craftsmen serves beautiful fresh food, and Wildmoor Delicatessen serve artisan paninis, sandwiches and coffee. There are many other cafes in town such as cycle-friendly Cafe 3 Sixty, Inner Light Cafe (specialising in vegan options), Brookside Cafe & Restaurant, and Cafe 64.
If you want to combine your trip with a little of the outdoors, we are minutes from the stunning landscapes of Dartmoor (we’re roughly 10 mins drive from Haytor), Parke National Trust Estate, and the award-winning Mill Marsh Park with plenty of play equipment to keep little ones happy while you choose your next project.
