We prefer to speak to our customers rather than operate an faceless 'click and buy' system! Browse our site, add the yarns you're interested in to your Virtual Stash, and when you're finished click the button to send an enquiry to us. We'll then check to make sure we have your items in stock and reply to you via email or phone - whatever you prefer! We can take payment over the phone by card or we can send you a link to pay via PayPal, whichever method you are most comfortable with.

We use first class post for our items and will work postage out for your individual order. Generally speaking most yarn parcels up to 10x 50g balls cost £3.30, larger amounts will cost £5. Small items such as needles or most books cost £1.20. We only charge what Royal Mail charge us plus materials.

Don't worry! Just get in contact and we'll talk you through it. Our passion is working with our customers to find the best yarn for their project and this is a service we provide in our shop on a regular basis.

Of course - we post internationally on a regular basis. Just let us know when you make your enquiry and we'll let you know what the charge will be. We keep our postage charges as close to cost as possible.

If you'd like to receive the next season's programme, please ensure you are signed up to our mailing list with your postal address, as we mail our programmes out initially before sending them by email, as it gives all our customers a fair chance at getting a place on our workshops.

Some of our more popular workshops sell out within days so as soon as you receive your programme through the post give us a call or request a call-back and we'll take your booking. We take payment over the phone at the time of booking so please have your card details ready!

Whether you ordered via email or in the shop, just give us a call or send us an email and we'll look into it for you. It really helps if you let us know what brand you ordered so please have that to hand if possible.

We are open from 10am to 5pm on Mondays to Fridays and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year.

The main carpark in Bovey Tracey is behind the Methodist Church, on Le Molay-Littry Way. The postcode for the church is TQ13 9AD and the charges are 1 - 3 hours: £1.00, 3 - 5 hours: £2.00, All day: £3.20. Alternatively free parking can be found in some residential streets if you leave a little extra time!

Yes, we have two friendly monthly knit clubs - our morning group meets on the first Tuesday morning of each month from 10.30am - 1.00pm, and our evening group meets on the last Wednesday evening of each month from 6.30 - 9.00pm. Dates can vary around Christmas so please check your current newsletter for details. Our knit groups cost £2.50 - hot drinks and refreshments are included in that price.

Unfortunately we don't currently have anyone who regularly takes on paid knitting work - due to the labour and materials involved it can become extremely expensive! We usually suggest putting a notice on one of the free town noticeboards (just outside Thomas the Bakers, or the entrance to Mill Marsh Park) if you are looking for someone to take on a project.
