The first session will explore the various methods of felting and in the second week you will be able to make something special to take home. Some ideas of what you can make are a scarf, a hat, a tea cosy, a bowl, a wall hanging, a bag or a cushion. |

| Jewellery Class for Beginners - 2 morning course |

| Cat Frampton has a passion for beautiful jewellery design and has been making & selling jewellery for a number of years; as well as teaching at numerous small classes around Devon. At the beginners 1 morning session you will have the chance to learn about various jewellery making techniques and will be able to make a necklace, bracelet or earrings. On the 2 morning course you will have more time to find out about different techniques; spending the first morning making a prescribed piece and on the second morning planning your own project with Cat at hand to help. |

| Lesson 1: Casting on - thumb method and 2 needle method; Plain stitch; Casting off.
Lesson 2: Purl stitch; Stocking stitch; Cast off.
Lesson 3: Rib stitch - 1x1 and 2x2; Combined sampler - plain, purl and moss.
Lesson 4: Increasing and decreasing for shape; Sew together 4 sample squares to finish - plain, purl, moss and rib/combined sample. |
